Terms of use
These terms describe CLAV’s early-access search and contribution service, operated by Clavicular.
Search and original sources
CLAV indexes videos and links to original platforms. Availability, playback, accuracy and resolution can vary. Unreviewed discoveries are identified separately. A search result does not by itself give permission to download, edit, redistribute or commercially use a video.
Downloads and reuse
Archive originals are offered when an approved file and recorded permission are available. The separate on-demand downloader attempts to retrieve public source videos at your request; source availability does not establish permission to reuse them. Watermark retouching can leave artifacts and does not change ownership or licensing. Respect any applicable creator permissions and third-party rights. Do not treat a clean-footage label as a grant of copyright, music, publicity or other rights. CLAV does not promise a downloadable copy or 1080p quality for every source.
Contributions
Only contribute files you have authority to share. Your submission must accurately describe your permission to store and process the footage. Permission for user downloads and reuse is a separate, optional choice in the upload form. Submitted files stay private until reviewed. Keep added captions and graphics off originals where possible; natural text in the scene is reviewed in context.
Accounts and acceptable use
Keep your account secure. Do not submit deceptive permission claims, impersonate creators, upload malicious files, evade access restrictions or interfere with the service. CLAV may withhold, remove or restrict sources and submissions that fail review or are subject to a substantiated rights or safety concern.
Third-party services
Using embedded platform content also involves the applicable platform terms, including the YouTube Terms of Service. CLAV is not a substitute for permission from the relevant rights holder.
Contact and content concerns
Report incorrect attribution, duplicate content, permission disputes or removal requests with the source URL and supporting details.
